Catering can be a stodgy and lifeless affair. The Bear Kitchen is different. We create deeply satisfying, energy-boosting event food. Fresh, vibrant dishes tailored to your requirements.


Our experienced team caters for most occasions, whether you need a lunchtime buffet, canapes, or a sumptuous sit-down dinner.


We believe in balance, so we do use (the best) meat, fish, and dairy, but these are always optional add-ons to our deliciously plant-powered dishes. The Bear Kitchen makes it easy for vegans, vegetarians, omnivores and omnivores to enjoy together.

Autumn/Winter 2018/19


Jerusalem Artichoke soup with rye crunch, preserved lemon & herb oil.



Casserole of black & cannelloni beans, lentils, star anise, ginger, lime, black cabbage & mushrooms with strained yoghurt (optional), sweet chilli & toasted seeds.


Salad of roasted celeriac, apples, sweetheart cabbage, parsley, dried apricots, black currants, Earl Grey tea soaked sultanas, almonds, buckwheat & goat feta (optional) with a citrus & honey vinaigrette.


Optional add-ons

Slow-roasted chicken, pulled & served in reduction of cooking juices.

Rillette of oak-smoked kippers.


Sourdough bread made with

stone-ground, organic flour.



Goat milk & tarragon panna cotta, malt soil & blackberry glaze.
