We do the hard part, so you can have fun preparing super tasty and nutritious meals in minutes. Simply heat up the Meal Base, tweak it to your taste, and chop up some veggies to go with it. Serve with some of your favourite grains, a hunk of good bread, potatoes or similar.

We do:

Organic blue peas grown in Essex slow simmered in a fresh coconut green curry.

Optional add-on:

Chicken from Fosse Meadow Farm slow-braised and pulled off the bone.

You do:

Stir-fried aubergine and peppers tossed with lettuce leafs, mint and a good dressing. Serve with basmati rice and red quinoa.

Example 2

We do:

Olive Green Lentils from Hertfortshire and mushroom ragu.

Optional add-on:

Chicken from Fosse Meadow Farm slow-braised and pulled off the bone.

You do:

A nice tomato salad with some olives. Add a dash of creme fraiche to your ragu. Toss with penne or spaghetti. Finish off with some good Parmegiano.

Our story

We are two Danes, who had a serendipitous meeting of minds in London. Both of us have an unwavering determination to make a positive difference for people and the planet.

We founded The Bear Kitchen to help raise awareness about the importance of food choices for joy, for health and for our future –

and to empower action.

Our purpose is to empower YOU to make a positive difference by making better food choices. Our philosophy is simple: Eat like a bear.

Why bears? Because the bear eats mostly plant. She’s never heard of ‘seasonal’ or ‘local’, yet she eats nothing else. And she doesn’t eat all the highly processed foods and factory farmed meat that are destroying our health and the planet.
